When shipping to the United States, customs duties, import taxes and clearance fees may be charged separately from the item price and shipping.

Customs Duties and Import Taxes

⚠️ Customs duties, import taxes and clearance fees are not included in the item price or shipping fee and are the buyer’s responsibility.

 

⚠️ In most cases, the carrier sends an SMS or email for online payment before delivery to the United States.

 

Shipping to the United States

・DHL or U.S. Customs may request an importer ID.

・“ID” refers to an SSN for an individual, EIN for a company, or a CBP Assigned Number.

Important Notes When Submitting ID


The name on the ID must match the consignee name on the shipping label.
We confirm the name by email before shipping.

⚠️ If DHL contacts you about ID, please contact DHL promptly and submit it directly by the method DHL provides, without sending it through our store.

 

If a package is returned to Japan for customer-related reasons, return and reshipping costs are the customer’s responsibility.

What We Cannot Do

  • Declare a lower value
  • Declare a purchased item as a Gift

As a registered tax-paying business in Japan, we cannot accommodate either request.

⚠️ If a Package Is Returned to Japan Because Duties Were Not Paid

If a package is returned because of a delayed response to DHL or another customer-related reason, the related costs are the customer’s responsibility. Please respond to DHL promptly.

Refund after deducting:

  • Outbound shipping: JPY 7,900
  • Return shipping: JPY 16,900
  • Handling fee: 24% of the item price

Handling fee includes

  • Credit-card processing fee: approximately 5%
  • Packing and shipping preparation
  • Customs documents
  • Removing the item from sale
  • Ozone drying and cleaning preparation
