No. Customs duties and import taxes are not included in the product price or shipping fee.
All customs duties and import taxes are the buyer’s responsibility.

②▶︎ When do I pay customs duties?

Customs duties are not paid at the time of purchase.
They are charged by the shipping carrier, such as DHL, before the item is delivered.

In many cases, you will receive a notification by SMS to your phone number or by email, with a link for digital payment.

③ ▶︎ How much will customs duties be?

Customs duties are determined by the customs authority in each country.
They are not decided by our shop or the shipping carrier.

Customs rates, tax-free thresholds, and import rules vary depending on the country, region, timing, and product category.
For this reason, we cannot provide an exact customs amount in advance.

If you are concerned, please check with your local customs office before purchasing.

④ ▶︎ Can you declare a lower value?

Unfortunately, we are unable to do so.

Under Japanese law, the declared export value must match the actual selling price.
We cannot accept under-declaration, false declarations, or Gift declarations.
(If we write “GIFT,” as we are a registered export company with customs,
the shipment may be stopped before customs clearance and we may be asked to revise the declaration.）

About International Shipping (Deliveries Outside Japan)

For high-value items, the shipping carrier (DHL) may request submission of identification documents.

For example, in the United States, you may be asked to provide an SSN (Social Security Number) or EIN (Employer Identification Number).

In such cases,
please make sure that "the name on the ID" exactly matches "the name shown on the shipping label".

If the names do not match, the identification document may not be accepted,
and the package may be returned to Japan.

Please also note that if the package is returned for this reason,
the return shipping cost and any re-shipping fees will be the responsibility of the customer.

Yes.

If you pay in Japanese yen by bank transfer (through WISE or your regular bank),

Here’s what we do to help minimize customs duties:

Declared for “Personal Use Only”
– This classification typically has the lowest tax rate.

Marked as “Used Pre-owned Clothes” with HS Code: 6309.00.0000
– This code specifically indicates “Used Clothing” in DHL Japan,
which usually results in a lower duty.

Packaging kept as compact as possible
– Smaller packages are less likely to be held by customs.

⑧ ▶︎DHL or EMS 

At our store, we normally ship by DHL, as EMS usually takes longer,costs more than DHL,
and many customers have told us that the amount of import duties does not differ between EMS and DHL.

If you strongly prefer EMS, we can arrange shipment by EMS for 15,900 JPY.

Please also note that, with EMS, customs charges often cannot be paid by credit card.

⑨ ▶︎ What happens if customs duties are not paid?

If customs duties are not paid, the item will be returned to us by DHL.

After the item is returned, the following costs will be deducted from the refund.

・Shipping fee: ¥7,900
・Return shipping fee: ¥16,900
・Handling fee: 24% of the product price, including:
　・Credit card processing fee, approx. 5%
　・Packing and shipping preparation
　・Customs document preparation
　・Removing the item from other sales platforms
　・Ozone dry cleaning and other preparation costs
