For sample sale items for employees or family, there may be
a line drawn with a pen on the CHANEL tag.

In some cases, these items may not be eligible for maintenance
at boutiques. If an item in our store has a line on the tag,
we make sure to include it in the product photos, so please check.

▶︎Chanel / Missing Size and Material Tags

In rare cases, for items imported from overseas, the size tag or material tag at the neckline
may have already been cut off.

The reason for this is that Chanel tags can be quite stiff, so many people
cut them off before wearing to avoid the sensation of the tag directly touching their skin.

In addition to the size tag, Chanel garments have
a black brand tag with the "CHANEL" logo embroidered around the neckline,
which is securely sewn into the lining.

There are even rare cases of celebrities who boldly have this brand tag itself
unstitched at the boutique before wearing the item.

The fact that they no longer need to make it obvious that the item is CHANEL...
I think that's truly characteristic of a celebrity.😅

Indeed, I myself sometimes cut off the size tag on innerwear like summer tank tops
because it feels prickly against my neck.
(Being a commoner, I of course leave the CHANEL brand tag intact!)

In any case, whether or not there are size and material tags no longer affects
the value of the clothing.

However, the brand tag is a different story.
Without it, the price will drop when you want to sell it!

Therefore, if an item in our store is missing the CHANEL brand tag,
we clearly state it in the product description and
upload photos, so please rest assured.
