During Karl Lagerfeld’s era, CHANEL Fall Winter 2017 (17A) did more than place space imagery on clothes. A rocket rose in the centre of the Grand Palais, joining the collection, music and venue in one launch sequence. 花呢束腰上衣、百慕達短褲與銀色靴，把60年代的太空想像重新放進俐落輪廓。

Models circled the enormous rocket before it rose at the finale. Astronaut and planet prints, spherical bags and silver surfaces carried the story into every detail.

The full show reveals both the scale of the rocket and the continuous orbit traced by the models around it.

A 1960s future moves into CHANEL tweed

Short shift dresses, tweed tunics and Bermuda shorts appear with silver boots tipped in black. The collection updates the period when space exploration embodied the future through new materials and volume.

The impressions film captures silver reflections, prints and the distance between the audience and the runway.

Karl Lagerfeld’s commentary film traces how the space theme was connected to established CHANEL codes.
