In October 2012, immense white wind turbines and solar panels appeared inside the Grand Palais.
The clothes felt airy beside the monumental set. Soft A-lines, short boleros and mesh that seemed ready to catch the breeze gave the collection a bright spring-summer mood without losing its architectural shape.

This season was about more than clothes that simply looked cool for summer.
Fabrics moved with the air, white and bright colors suggested sunlight, and the cutting created shape without heaviness. Even the wearer’s movement seemed to become part of the design.

In person, the materials make the 13S collection even more enjoyable than the runway photographs suggest.
Cotton tweed holds a clear shape while remaining surprisingly light. Sculptural mesh lets a hint of skin or the colour of an underlayer show through. Large pearl-effect buttons shine almost like jewellery.
Even navy and black feel fresh rather than heavy. White, red, lavender and grey give the jackets an easy energy that makes you want to style them with denim or slim trousers.
