During Karl Lagerfeld’s era, CHANEL Spring Summer 2014 (14S) did not simply place clothes in a gallery. The Grand Palais itself became “CHANEL Art”, presenting the clothes, set and accessories as one exhibition. The collection connects the gallery, accessories, makeup and tailoring as parts of one exhibition.

Paintings and sculptures conceived by Karl Lagerfeld filled the venue, while the clothes carried colour charts and pointillist effects. The white space held the saturated shades and kept each look sharply outlined.
