Carlyne Cerf de Dudzeele: the French stylist behind an unmistakable CHANEL attitude

Carlyne grew up near Saint-Tropez in the south of France. After about ten years at French ELLE, she moved to New York in 1985.

She later became a fashion editor at American Vogue and worked with photographers including Richard Avedon, Irving Penn and Steven Meisel.

In the Saint-Tropez of her youth, haute couture appeared naturally alongside jeans and T-shirts.
